IELTS 受験科目の順序の変化
カナダでは従来通り以下の順序でIELTSの試験が行われています。
- リスニング
- リーディング
- ライティング
- スピーキング
一方、以下のようにライティングを初めに行う形式に変更となりました。
この順番の方が、集中力が切れる心配や、試験疲れが少ない状態で高得点を取るのが難しいライティングを先にやることになるため有利かと思われます。

最近のIELTS ライティング アカデミック タスク1の出題傾向
IELTSのアカデミックタスク1は、グラフ、チャートなどの解析が圧倒的に多い傾向があります。
しかし、最近ではマップも多々出題される傾向にあります。

最近のIELTS ライティング ジェネラル タスク1の出題傾向
IELTSのジェネラルライティングにおけるタスク1は、これまで通り、依頼・お礼・謝罪（謝り）などを書く、レター（手紙）形式のライティングです。
箇条書きの項目を、逃さず書くようにしましょう。
You are soon going to spend three months doing work experience in an organization.
Write a letter to the manager of the organization where you are going to do work experience.
・Thank the manager to the opportunity to do work experience
・Explain what you hope to learn from the work experience
・Ask some questions about the work experience you are going to do
You recently learned that a close friend of yours has had a baby, and you purchased a gift for the baby. Write a letter to your friend.
・Congratulate them on the arrival of the baby
・Describe the gift you have chosen for the baby
・Suggest arrangements for your visit to deliver the gift
You joined a sports club recently and are experiencing some problems. Write to the club manager. In your letter:

IELTSアカデミックでは Discussion/opinion エッセイ が主流でしたが、最近では Direct Question エッセイが多くなってきている傾向にあります。
IELTSジェネラルではOpinion エッセイが主流ですが、最近は Direct Question エッセイが多く出題されています。
